Simply defined Remote Data Hosting (RDH) is an off site storage area on the SWS T1 secured network that is used for storing important mission critical data from your PC or network file server. The storage area can be utilized for backing up all your personal or business data, protecting it against data loss in the event your business server or local PCs hard drive becomes inaccessible.

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to lose your critical business data and not have a backup copy anywhere else? Or on a larger scale, what if a disaster occurred in the facility where your data is housed and you no longer had a server? What if the file server is unavailable for a lengthy period of time or the hard drive crashes in your PC due to a power surge from lighting or other sources? Would you be able to recover your important information quickly? If the answer is ‘NO’, then you need to take advantage of this service.

 Service Pricing
The fee for this service cost is $10.00 a month, which includes a storage space of 500 megabytes. If 500 megabytes is not enough storage space, more storage can be purchased in increments of 500 megabytes at a time for an additional $10.00 a month. So 1 gigabyte would have a monthly fee of $20.00 (1 gigabyte = 500 megabyte X 2)

To give you an example of what 500 megabytes would equate to, it would take approximately 362 full floppy disks of data to fill 500 megabytes.
