Personal Web Hosting

Skaggs Web Services offers a personal account for those that wants to create and host a non-business web site and share information and pictures about  their  hobbies, family albums, vacation pictures and much more. This is also a great plan for hosting all your EBay ® auction pictures too.

Below are the detailed services, with prices and account options. 

A personal account with SWS has a monthly hosting fee of $10.00 which includes 15 megabytes of storage for your website and 2 email accounts. The email service is accessible through different types of media and applications. If you use Microsoft Outlook, Outlook express, Eudora or Netscape products you can take advantage of the SMTP/ POP3 options. If you do not have any email clients installed and have Internet access you can access your email using the web mail option. The benefit of using the web mail is that you are not tied down to a single pc and you access your email from any computer that has access to the Internet. 

  Website Maintenance

An additional service that SWS offers our clients is website maintenance. Website maintenance consists of making any changes to or updates to any existing pages. This is an optional service that we offer, so if you are not web savvy or do not know how to edit your own web content using Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dream weaver you can add this to your account. To take advantage of this service an additional charge of $20.00 a month will be added to your monthly hosting fee. 

  Setup Fee

Each new account receives a 1-time setup fee charge of $20.00. This is for establishing and configuring your Internet domain name to point to the SWS email and web servers. The setup fee does not include the price of your domain name registration.

  Additional Web Space

If you need to purchase any additional web space beyond your account limit, the monthly charge for the additional server space is only $2.00 per 10 megabytes. Example: If you have a business account with the limit of 15 megabyte at $10.00 a month and you wanted to purchase 10 more megabytes your new monthly hosting fee would be $12.00.

  Additional Email Accounts 

If you would like additional email accounts beyond the personal account limit of 2, SWS can offer the accounts to you for a monthly charge of $3.00 per account. With each email account you can have unlimited alias accounts at no charge. For example, if your email address is ronnie@forsale.com you can have an alias email address of sales@forsale or support@forsale.com. All email to the alias email accounts will be delivered to the ronnie@forsale.com.
