SWS Content Management System Overview
In order to make any
changes to your CMS (Content Management System) integrated website you will
need to be viewing your website with an active internet connection.
The CMS gives you the
ability to edit any page that has the below logo at the bottom of the page
just below the content.
Example:
To enter the CMS editor
press the CTRL and Y key on your keyboard at the same time.
Log in using
Name: What
SWS supplied you
Password:
What SWS supplied you
To change the password
once you're logged in click the lock icon on the tab to the left.
To view the list of
pages that can be edited, press the cascading pages icon on the left tab
then click on the green E next to the page file name. Make sure you click
the save icon on the tool bar after you make your changes.
Buttons explained
E = Edit a page –
To make changes to a page
R = Rename a page – If a page is renamed other linked pages will not
work unless you fix the link
D = Delete a page – This will permanently delete the page
A = Author Permissions – This option is if you want to give a page
unique permission.
To view your site and
see the changes made to any page click on the magnify glass tab on the left.
Make sure you save the page before you view it by clicking on the icon
that looks like a floppy disk on the tool bar.
